Inclusive Innovation: Using Assistive Technology to Support SWDs in the Co-Taught Classroom |
| Description: | This event will enable teachers within the co-taught classroom learn how to use TextHelp and Equatio to help students with disabilities access grade-level standards. Hands on opportunities will be provided to allow teachers to practice what they are learning so they can return to class and implement with students. Teachers will learn how to help students become proficient using TextHelp as part of specially designed instruction for literacy and Equatio for math. Teachers will also learn how to use uPAR to determine appropriate reading accommodations for students who struggle with reading grade-level content. |
