Low Incidence Teacher Collaborative Session 2 |
| Description: | Join East Georgia GLRS for a series of 4 collaborative meetings devoted exclusively to supporting teachers working with students with significant cognitive disabilities, i.e. Moderate (MoID) and Severe / Profound (S/PID). This series will address topics including scheduling instruction and classroom structure, positive behavioral supports to increase student achievement, teaching literacy to students with significant cognitive disabilities, incorporating literacy and numeracy throughout the day, understanding the connection between state level standards (GSE) and alternate academic standards for students with significant cognitive disabilities. Additional topics will be determined by collaborative participants. |
